Solutions Delivery Manager
What is the opportunity?
In this role you will be an integral member of the IT team leading the development, implementation and continuous improvement of our technology and systems landscape across the organisation. Utilising a business partnering mindset this role will collaborate with all units of our business providing tailored solutions for operations ranging from feedlots and processing facilities to distribution centres and corporate functions.
Leveraging your diverse discovery, program management and delivery leadership skills, you will drive successful outcomes by influencing others and driving outcomes that align with the business strategy. Some of your day to day will include:
- Analysing current business processes, by various methods including reviews and workshops, to identify continuous improvement and systems opportunities.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, vendors and third parties on business needs and related technologies
- Developing and defining IT solutions to support business objectives and meet changing business needs
- Developing business cases to assist in the approval of those solution
- Plan and project manage projects to ensure successful implementation on time and in budget
What skills and experience are we looking for?
A strong and diverse set of program management and delivery leadership skills that have driven demonstrable and successful outcomes. Additionally, you will be able to unpack business strategy and align programs to ensure delivery of outcomes.
- Experience in development and implementation of IT solutions and projects
- Demonstrated experience in a client-focused environment
- Strong analytical, quantitative abilities and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate external and internal delivery dependencies and align to project timelines
- Solid leadership and emotional intelligence, with demonstrated ability to engage others, influence organisational culture and provide direction
- Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal, including an ability to prepare high level reports.
- Ability to identify opportunities for change and lead continuous improvement initiatives
This role will require intermittent travel to our sites in New South Wales and Queensland.
