On the 15th of October we celebrate International Day of Rural Women, a day to recognise the incredible women working across agriculture and our Group. From the yards to the office, from vet checks to processing, women play a vital role in feeding communities and supporting sustainable processes.
At our Oakey plant and feedlot, women like Brooklyn, Laynae, Amy, and Lexi volunteered to share what the day means to them and what it’s like to work be a woman working in agriculture. Their stories show the variety, challenges, and rewards of life in rural workplaces and the passion and dedication these women bring every day.
