January marks a key moment in our NH Foods calendar with the return of the annual NH Foods Exhibition in Japan. First held in 1983, the exhibition has grown over more than four decades to become our Group’s most significant showcase, bringing together the full catalogue of NH Foods products, innovations, and collaborations.
The exhibition is held across two key locations: Tokyo, hosting up to 2,000 visitors per day from 14–15 January, and Osaka, hosting up to 1,000 visitors per day for two days the following week. Across both cities, the exhibition attracts representatives from NH Foods around the globe, providing a valuable opportunity to connect, share insights, and discuss market and product trends.
The event puts the diversity of the NH Foods Group on full display, with products spanning seafood, dairy, ready-to-eat and pre-packaged convenience foods, alongside premium Australian beef. In 2026, the focus was on refining and strengthening the brand awareness of existing products rather than launching entirely new ones, ensuring they continue to meet evolving customer needs and reinforce brand presence. One example is the Omugi Hamburger Steak, which has been updated with refreshed packaging to better showcase the Omugi brand.

A key focus at this year’s exhibition was helping customers understand how and when to enjoy products, highlighting the versatility and suitability of different items for a range of eating occasions.
2026 also marks the third year that our Omugi Angus brand has been showcased at the exhibition. The brand continues to gain traction year on year, attracting growing interest and strengthening its reputation in the discerning Japanese market.

After more than four decades, the NH Foods Exhibition remains a key event for the Group. An unparalleled opportunity to connect over shared goals, achievements, innovation, and trends, the exhibition continues to play a vital role in NH Foods’ mission of delivering the joy of eating to millions of people around the world.
