World Food Safety Day is celebrated each year on the 7th of June and is all about recognising the importance of safe food practices in protecting consumers and upholding confidence in the global food supply.
For us, food safety is at the core of all our operations. From livestock procurement and handling, through to processing, packing, distribution, and delivery, maintaining consistently high safety standards is a responsibility shared by each part of our business.
In order to produce consistent, safe, premium beef, attention to detail is paramount at every stage of our supply chain. This attention to detail is upheld by rigorous training, regular auditing, certification, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the quality of our products.
The theme of this year’s World Food Safety Day is “From burden to solutions – safe food everywhere”. Foodborne diseases, while largely preventable, remain a major global burden, and this year’s campaign is aimed at highlighting how science-led decisions can reduce illness and lives lost.
