Human Resources Manager

Opportunity

We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Human Resource Manager to support our diverse workforce of 950+ employees. Reporting to the General Manager, this role requires exceptional communication and leadership skills, playing a key role in driving the continued success of our operations.

 

 

What skill are we looking for?

  • Management of the Human Resources team comprising: Recruitment, Training, WHS, Return to Work and First Aid.
  • Negotiation and management of enterprise agreements.
  • Oversee international labour sourcing activities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve engagement and attendance.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant awards, agreements and I.R. laws.
  • Coach, mentor and assist line managers to lead and manage their teams.
  • Support the implementation of HR information system due in early 2026.
  • Refine and implement programs linked to our strategic business plan across all functions to ensure a high-performance and professional culture.
  • Support internal and external ESG, J-Sox, quality and safety audits.

What experience are we looking for?

  • Minimum of five years HR experience with a degree or diploma in HR or related field.
  • Sound knowledge of contemporary industrial and human relations laws.
  • Highly organised with attention to detail and excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to communicate on all levels.
  • Ability to develop relationships and maintain confidentiality.
  • Experience in the meat processing or large-scale manufacturing or production would be beneficial.
