Whyalla Beef is a leading beef feedlot operation committed to innovation and efficiency. As we grow, we’re looking for a Mill Maintenance Worker to join our team and help keep our feedmill and plant running safely and efficiently.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to build solid experience in an essential role within agriculture.

This is a practical, varied role involving maintenance, repairs, and improvements across our mill and feedlot operations.

What skill are we looking for?

  • Welding and basic fabrication work
  • Fitting, repairs, and preventative maintenance
  • Fault finding and breakdown assistance
  • Working closely with operations to minimise downtime
  • Maintaining a safe, tidy, and well-organised work environment

What experience are we looking for?

  • Trade qualified or has strong practical experience
  • Comfortable with welding and fitting work
  • Good problem-solving approach
  • Reliable, safety-focused, and willing to learn
  • Happy working as part of a small, supportive team
