Opportunity

The 24-month program is tailored to suit individual interests. You will engage in management and leadership workshops, industry run courses & complete a self-elected project. Successful candidates who participate in this program will ascertain the skills required to become a future leader in the beef industry and develop a holistic understanding of feedlotting.

Rotations within the program include:

Business Safety & Quality Assurance

Ration Allocation, Delivery & Commodity Management

Breeding, Backgrounding and Procurement of Livestock

Livestock Health, Husbandry and Management Practices

Maintenance of Plant and Equipment

Project, Performance and People Management

What experience are we looking for?

  • Recent graduates and/or young professionals who are passionate about the beef industry.
  • Self-motivated people who are willing to learn and expand their skill set.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willing to relocate, live and work in regional centres.
  • Can commit to the two-year intensive program which will accelerate their career.
