The 2025 ICMJ National Conference has wrapped up after five days of industry insights, skills development and connection in Wagga Wagga. Held from 8 to 12 July, the event brought together yet another cohort of students, educators and professionals from across the red meat industry.
As an ongoing supporter of ICMJ, we were proud to once again be involved as a Major Partner. The week included practical workshops, carcase judging, industry discussions and a valuable careers expo, giving students a broad view of the many directions a career in the sector can take.

We were also proud to present the Wednesday night dinner, where guests enjoyed Omugi Braised Beef Cheeks in Pedro Ximenez with Parsnip Puree and Chives, a delicious recipe created by our brand partner, Chef Jason Roberts.

On Thursday evening, our team joined the Careers and Industry Expo, speaking with students about the wide range of roles available across our operations and the different ways to build a future in the beef industry.
The week concluded with the ICMJ Gala Awards Dinner, where we sponsored the Overall Questions Award. Congratulations to this year’s winners:
- Individual Overall Champion: Grace Real, Texas A&M University
- Individual Overall Runner Up: Kathryn Fisher, University of Queensland
- Champion Team: Texas A&M University – Bryce Borchardt, Harper Parson, Grace Real, Taylor Colvin
- Runner Up Team: University of Queensland – Piper Christensen, Kathryn Fisher, Will Lawrence, Andrew Thomson

It was a great week spent alongside participants who are passionate about where the industry is headed. We’re proud to continue our support of ICMJ and the future of the red meat sector.
Keep up with us on:
