The 39th annual Wingham Beef Week has wrapped up after another successful week of education, competition and, of course, great beef! This year’s event attracted record-breaking participation, with more than 500 students taking part in the week’s activities.
From cattle judging and parading competitions through to carcase assessment, educational sessions and a careers night, Wingham Beef Week once again delivered a truly unique, hands-on experience that connected young people with the vast opportunities available in the red meat industry.
The week brought together students, producers, industry representatives and the local community for an event that plays a pivotal role in developing the next generation of the beef industry.
And of course, it wouldn’t be Wingham Beef Week without premium beef on the menu.

At Thursday night’s Unled Presentation Dinner, guests enjoyed slow-cooked Manning Valley Naturally Beef Shin Shank, alongside Tomahawk and Cube Roll prepared on an open fire cooking cart.
This year’s event was made even more special with Wingham Beef Week receiving a message of support from Her Excellency the Honourable Sam Mostyn AC, Governor-General of Australia, who recognised the strong Wingham community spirit that makes this event so special.

We are proud to have supported Wingham Beef Week for all 39 years of the event and are already looking forward to celebrating the milestone 40th anniversary next year.
A huge thank you to the Wingham Beef Week committee, volunteers, students and supporters for delivering another successful event.
