May 2025 marked the 38th Wingham Beef Week, and 38 years of continuous support from Wingham Beef Exports as a major sponsor of this very special community event.

The team from our Wingham plant has been involved since the very beginning, and we were excited to continue that tradition in 2025 with a week full of education, great food, and connections between students, teachers, community members, and industry professionals.

We kicked things off with a hands-on education afternoon led by our brand partner, Chef Jason Roberts. In a series of 30-minute sessions, Jason shared his love for the joy of eating, from what makes a great steak, to the age-old debate of how many times you should flip it, and his favourite cuts for open-fire cooking.

It was a fantastic afternoon, highlighting the connection between the care put into raising animals and delivering the final product we know as the joy of eating.


On Thursday night, we proudly sponsored the MSA Unled Presentation Dinner. Jason cooked for over 100 guests over an open fire, serving Manning Valley Naturally cuberoll with tomato relish, roasted vegetables, and salsa verde.

To round out the week, we welcomed participants to our Wingham plant on Friday for an up-close experience of an important stage in the beef supply chain. These sessions delved further into how the care taken on-farm is carried through to the final product.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s Wingham Beef Week a success. The weather wasn’t on our side, but it didn’t stop people from showing up and getting involved.
