What is the opportunity?

We are seeking an individual that is passionate about the environment to join our team at Oakey Beef Exports as our Environmental Compliance Officer, working in our main office Monday to Friday with flexible working hours available. Reporting to the Engineering Manager we are looking for someone with excellent communication and technical skills, who has a keen interest in water quality services, sustainable land utilisation and compliance.

What skill are we looking for?

• Highly organised with attention to detail
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to develop and implement best practice environmental projects and services
• Compliance with all relevant legislation, company policies, procedures
• Exposure to project coordination, management, reporting and budgeting.

What experience are we looking for?

• Experience in the development and implementation of the best practice towards reuse, recycling and continuous improvement of sustainability
• Understanding of the maintenance of environmental operating procedures and productions standards
• Relevant commercial industry experience
• Tertiary qualification in environment science field preferable
